Every now and again it’s a good idea to check in with your kids and see how their skills are progressing. For example, this week I asked Bastien if he could pick out some clothes for the day and get himself dressed. This is what I got.

You can just zip it. I saw a little boy at the library last week with every last one of his nails painted. PINK.

This is proof that he actually does sleep. This post is nothing more than a sanity check for me. But hey, CUTE SLEEPING KID.

Lately, he has taken to sleeping with his hands laced behind his head, all Ferris Bueller-like.

Often, the funniest moment of my day is the last peek in.

She had such dainty little feet for so long, I thought she’d escaped a couple of my less attractive genes.

Yeah. Not so much.

The only time Bastien wears a diaper anymore is at night. Which really is pointless because he always wakes up dry anyway. So, I’m shipping off half of his set of Bum Geniuses to little cousin Zelie.
My SIL uses Bum Geniuses as well and her two-year-old has a bad case of the “mines” at [...]

And she’s not afraid to use them.
