Strange But True
As part of my “year of discipline” I read the Bible twice a day. Once in a while something new catches my attention. Today it was 2 Samuel 26.
26 Whenever he cut the hair of his head—he used to cut his hair once a year because it became too heavy for him—he would weigh it, and its weight was two hundred shekels[b] by the royal standard.
(200 shekels = 5 lbs)
I have often wondered how much my hair weighs. I’m pretty confident I have Absalom beat. And this also explains why my weight keeps inching up.
And this is all ALSO the perfect segue into Hadley’s recent interest in styling my hair.
