Should Not Be Forgotten

It is such a treat to me when my kids occasional immaturity happens to be a surprise of comedy and delight. For example, stumbling upon the first homemade slide for the new microscope. Which is labeled “booger”.

Also, recently we were helping Hadley review for an economics test. To answer the question, “what are needs?” Hadley replied: “food, water, shelter, air, or I can just write all of the above.” And when she said “all of the above,” she gestured widely in the air overhead. Upon further probing it became clear that to Hadley “all of the above” meant everything in the atmosphere and possibly heaven too. I’m still not sure we’ve convinced her otherwise. And really, I think she has a solid case.
