African Lion Safari

So during this weekend’s crazy shenanigans, we eventually landed IN the zoo. But what fun!

I cannot recommend the African Lion Safari of Cambridge Ontario enough.

You know about our other recent safari adventures, I’m sure. But this one wins, hands down. Just look at all those smiles.

Let’s see, there was a train ride, a boat ride, swimming elephants, a waterpark and a drive-thru safari where lions, cheetas and the like lazily watched you drive by. The brochure describes it best: “…where visitors are ‘caged’ in their vehicles and the animals were allowed to roam freely.”

Do you even know what a relief this is after being attacked by moose? Well, the only way you’ll find out is if you compare and cotrast yourself. Or, you can always just take my word on it.

Anyway, if you’re passing through the area with your ten-and-unders (two-and-unders, free), GO! You’ll all be happy you did. Especially if you’re high-tailing it home from a near-cult-experience.
