Hale Farm

Such a quaint place in Cuyahoga Valley National Park (near Cleveland). This was a truly worthwhile day trip we recently took to hang out with our Ohio family.

Worthwhile, even on the sweatiest of days.

Honestly? I had no idea Bastien would respond to a place like this so favorably.

But. They had him at “barefoot”.

(Actually we were ridiculed by a staff member for letting him go shoeless. But I mean c’mon, did little boys in this era really wear shoes?)







Bottom line: if you’ve got your own budding Huck Finn at home, I just could not recommend this place more.
