The Long-Awaited Bathroom Pics

While we are away frolicking on the beach, I leave with you our new bathroom–in all its shiny, new glory–to enjoy. (After all, someone should be).

What started out as a simple replacement of our prefab shower, quickly turned into a whole custom job. Turns out, we had INCHES of unused space going on in that old shower. It’s so big now, we barely know what to do with ourselves.

I’m ashamed to say we did not go green at all with this project. More ashamedly, it never even crossed my mind. Low VOC paint? What is that? In fact, the only thing reclaimed in here is the adorable table runner turned valance. Such a brilliant idea on the part of the former owner who was a MUCH better decorator than I.

And hey, maybe river rocks and slate count as reclaimed?

So there you have it. Please shoot us if we ever decide we want to move.

PS. Mad props to Jim for his VERY hard work on this project. And his countless missed nights of sleep stressing out about it.
Jim, thank you for the best Christmas present ever. And don’t think I didn’t notice your selective editing of my fancy lighted mirror that ruins your whole feng shui ;)
