Garden Report
As it turns out, there’s nothing better for your self confidence than planting a handful of pea seeds. I mean seriously, next year I might just turn our property into a pea farm. A 1′x2′ plot of our garden produced all this.

Our strawberries this year are non-abundant. But I have high hopes for all the raspberries I see popping out their sweet red heads. And, I really need to make it a priority to figure out how to pick the cherries growing down the driveway. I’m pretty sure I can convince Bastien to climb up with a bucket. But then Hadley will get all jealous.
I am totally getting into this gardening thing. I feel so blessed to live where I do, and have the daylight time that I do to enjoy its bounty. This book isn’t hurting my enthusiasm either: In God’s Garden: A Devotional for Gardeners (Hands and Heart Devotional)

And hey, look who can’t keep his hands off the peas!
