Letting It All Hang Out

For the past three years I have been searching for “the perfect clothesline”. At first, I bought the pulley system kind, like the ones you see strung high up between buildings in Italy. My thinking was I could hang clothes from my laundry room door without even having to step outside. But, that never got hung because we never could settle on a place to mount it.

Then on our OBX vacation, I was inspired by all the lines strung on porches from which to hang suits and towels. “Hey, we have a porch at home, too!” my mind exploded.

So when we got back, I ordered up the Jerdon First Class CL1 Retractable Clothesline from Amazon. Oddly the supplier limits you to three lines PER LIFE. No problem, I had Jim order two more.
Though my friend Lisa now has me wondering… what kind of terrorist activity goes on using retractable clotheslines?
