African Safari Wildlife Park, Port Clinton Ohio

So to start off our perfect road trip, we printed off a “whole car load coupon” from the internets and were on our way to a truly wild ride. Good Lord, this was the most stressful driving I have ever been responsible for. I will let this much anticipated video tell the rest of the story. But first let me add that a mere four days later, Jim had to perform even more stressful driving than this, which unfortunately was not caught on video. Suffice it to say, we’ve pretty much both earned our stunt driving diplomas by now.

PS. While we didn’t take advantage of the picnic or playground area at this park, they did look nice. And, this place gets bonus points for their pay-vacuum on the way out. You’ll need it to clean up the seven tons of grain pellets and wild animal fur that will surely be left in your car. They also provide a gift receipt with your ticket purchase (?)
PPS. My sister will undoubtedly comment on the lack of giraffes (despite heavy advertising to the contrary). To this I say: I COULD NOT HANDLE GIRAFFES!
