Baby Weight

A friend and I have challenged each other to a little game I like to call The Biggest Baby Weight Loser. It has become apparent that running twice a week and yoga nearly every day just isn’t cutting it. You know what that means: LESS FOOD. Waaaaaahh. Oh sorry, this isn’t the Biggest Baby competition.

We figure we both have about 20 pounds that we would be happy to never see again. And, we have this lovely weekend retreat coming up (pausing to thank God for husbands who are also saints) where we would like to look and feel our best.

So the game plan is to just report our daily food intake at the end of each day. It is eye opening, let me tell you. But also, it’s really fun to have someone to report to at the end of the day. It makes a big difference. Like, I better not eat another jelly bean, because hey, today might just be the day she decides to eat only applesauce. YOU NEVER KNOW!

Wish me luck. And please, whatever you do, DO NOT send chocolate cake.
