That’s all I have to say about this.
That’s all I have to say about this.
As “The One Where We All Sat Around On the Porch Enjoying Bagels Together.”
Or, whoever was the trouble-makingest duo in history. Because now that Hadley knows how to drive the escape car, we’re all in trouble. You’ve been warned. Lock your doors.
Last week, she got her first pair of kicks. She also got two new teeth. So pretty much blink an eye and she’ll be off to prom.
This week my trunk was loaded with everything from around the house that was worthy of donating to The Salvation Army. And I do mean EVERYTHING.
I’m always a little disappointed when one of my favorite bloggers’ post of the day is about her garden. This is contradictory on so many levels. I mean all my faves are moms who craft, sew, knit, and tromp around … Continue reading
Jim had another shoot with a three-month-old this weekend: Logan. Oh dear, I almost forgot just how cute three-month-olds can be. Definitely Tiger’s team 2030 material, don’t you think? And if you haven’t stopped by Jim’s site in a while, … Continue reading
We have completed our trial run and it was so much more fun than I expected. Namely because I hate cooking. But there was something so utterly soothing about knowing I was making two-weeks worth of meals and only dirtying … Continue reading
Jim and I. Going strong for six years now! So naturally this weekend we exchanged gifts. We’ve become quite the traditionalists when it comes to anniversary gifts – and often use the guideline of number of years wed=number of dollars … Continue reading
Thursday was yet another day of naplessness for good ol’ Bastien. Prompting me to enroll him in a 1:30-3:30 program called “Terrific Twos” that starts next week. That’ll show him! (Sidenote, when I called to inquire the director actually slipped … Continue reading
Bastien and I went to yet another preschool preview on Wednesday. I think it might be “The One”. The only thing is, I am slightly concerned about Bastien’s interpretation of the message. He just COULD NOT be dissuaded from that … Continue reading
Could anything in the world be better than having a sister in a college that hosts an annual Kids & Sibs weekend… where you are actually encouraged to ship your children off to SPEND THE NIGHT, regardless of their reputation? … Continue reading
If you have been around me and my son lately, I would like to apologize for the amount of screaming and death threats you have witnessed. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I am NOT a big … Continue reading
A friend and I have challenged each other to a little game I like to call The Biggest Baby Weight Loser. It has become apparent that running twice a week and yoga nearly every day just isn’t cutting it. You … Continue reading
Guess which one didn’t find an egg? My mom made this car seat cover, too. Again, sorry about your luck that she’s NOT FOR HIRE. Cool dude with Dorito. This could have easily been Easter 1982. And in this corner: … Continue reading
Another of my favorite traditions – hanging the clothes out the night before. Hadley’s dress and bloomers were also made by my mom this year. And no, she’s not for hire.
We have this little tradition going on Christmas Eve that involves the gift of a new pair of PJs for the kids to open and wear. So just imagine how delighted I was when my mom made matchy-matchy spring PJs … Continue reading
Since pretty much everyone gets a Spring Break, I’m taking one this week too. Sadly, no pina coladas are in the works. Though, a half ton of Easter candy just might be. And for you, faithful friends, Jim has plenty … Continue reading
Thinking about how I was NOT going to put any candy in my kids’ Easter baskets this year reminded me of the following conversation I had with my mom around Christmastime (round about the time Bastien had a wee bit … Continue reading
