Crafty For My Kids

I thought it would be more meaningful to do a homemade Easter this year. Especially since I have all this spare time on my hands. Ha! That was a joke; please laugh. But really, I stumbled upon two inspiring patterns that I just couldn’t resist.

The first one, this adorable Car Cozie for my boy, was a piece of cake.

I really enjoyed making it. So much in fact that I made one for a friend’s birthday gift too. My mom actually made Bastien’s if I’m being honest, and cut out the pieces for the other. That’s probably why I liked doing it so much, come to think of it.


And here’s Hadley’s Easter Bunny

from the book Last Minute Knitted Gifts. This knit was so laborious it better darn well become a family heirloom. Six hours my foot. Let it be known that I did not intentionally stitch the face on sideways. But I like it that way.

And one more thing about this project: NEVER AGAIN.
