Birthday Craftin’

A certain special nephew and niece turn three and one this month. So I couldn’t miss the occasion to whip up a little something for each. As much as I’d like to pretend otherwise, honestly, I find it so difficult to come up with great ideas for boys’ stuff. So I was excited and relieved to find out the sweatshirt supplier I’ve worked with in the past had small zippies to work with.

And I do love making the pillowcase dress for little girls’ first birthdays. It’s the dress that grows with them for years and can be worn as a top, over long or short sleeves, or all on its own. I have a terrible sense of fashion, so my very pragmatic brain wishes all clothes were like that!
