Advent Update

Let’s see, in the past week, I’ve glued the beard back on a nutcracker and a crown on the king from the manger (which has incidentally now been relocated to the china cabinet), repaired a wooden snowflake from the countdown calendar, and watched three Santas rapidly wear out. But all these “Kissmas” things are helping him stay in bed, and I’m adept with the glue, so we keep going.

I’ve also been tipped off to some great Advent ideas, and rediscovered some of my favorite blog sources. One being The Crafty Crow. I think I’ve mentioned them here before and I’ve been patiently waiting for Bastien to mature enough to partake of all their cool kids’ crafts. But one thing that I absolutely love is their daily posting of seasonal books+corresponding craft ideas. Just check them out to see what I mean. A true wealth of ideas!
