Hadley’s Six-Month Stats

Can you even believe this? I had to take Hadley in for her six-month checkup, including its many, many shots, on my birthday…alone! To be fair, Jim was out playing with Bastien on the doctor’s office grounds, to prevent him from contracting the swine flu or whatever else might reside in the waiting room. So while they’re out frolicking around, throwing pebbles in the pond and climbing trees, there I am, pinning my daughter to the table so they can punch her with sharp needles FIVE times. Happy birthday to me.

Her weight: 18.10 1/2 lbs (90th %)
Her height: 28″ (100th %)
Her head circumference: 17.5″ (90th %)

At this age, Bastien weighed 18.9 lbs and was 26″ long, for anyone keeping track.

Here’s our happy girl, doing the thing she likes to do best these days. Those big ol’ cheeks are hard to stop, once they start flapping.
