Cutest Kids In Costco, If I Do Say So Myself.
I am in such a knitting frenzy these days, I can hardly knit fast enough. Scratch that, I CAN’T knit fast enough, try as I might.

Here are my two babies in their mama-knit mohair hats. Bastien’s came from a pattern in my beloved Stitch ‘N Bitch book, which you can find in our Shoppe. I finished Hadley’s about five minutes before walking out the door for Costco this weekend. You know, so she wouldn’t turn into a cutesicle in the freezer section. And just look at how she can sit up in the cart like a big girl now! Oh that girl is growing by the second I tell you.

So when I was about an hour out from finishing her hat, I discovered another that she MUST HAVE IMMEDIATELY from SouleMama’s recent post. I’ve had that pattern bookmarked for several months since she first showed it off on her newborn. But frankly, it looks so much more adorable on an older baby, I don’t think I can resist it anymore.
Well I can’t, because I’m already half-way done. As I recently confided in Jim, I love knitting, because I know it’s something I can enjoy now, and probably until I’m on my deathbed. And let’s hope I improve some between now and then. And also, while we’re hoping, let’s hope that’s a long, l-o-n-g time from now. After all, there are so many more cute hats left to knit!
