Let me preface this post by saying we at theJLBs do not consider ourselves authorities on anything. While we do have a wide array of interests, we could not, say, diffuse a bomb.

That being said, we find a strange number of people coming to us for suggestions on what gear to buy, or testimonials on the gear they see us using. This could be because we are highly approachable people. Or, because I tend to gush about every find that makes life with babies easier. Or, it could simply be the fact that Jim knows everything about everything.

Anyway, you’ll notice a new addition to this site: our own little store. Really, it’s just an Amazon.com widget, but it’s the perfect place to reference all the things we hold near and dear to our everyday life. Go ahead, be nosy. Because while we do make a tiny fraction of a percentage off anything purchased from our store, the cost is no different than if you went straight to amazon and bought everything there.

Jim even added a photography resources department so you can see what he shoots with and study up on the art yourself. And also, hooray for the new masthead and other fun features on our blog! It all kind of makes me feel a little guilty for the demanding “honey do” list I place before my husband. But not too guilty, of course, to stop.
