Family Businesses You Should Know and Love

Eclectic Chiropractic Rehab
Because I am personally responsible for convincing my brother-in-law to pack up his family and his chiropractic clinic in Texas and move back to Michigan, I feel I owe it to him to help promote his business here. Luckily for me, I can do this with a clean conscience because he is probably the best chiropractor you will ever meet. Rich is truly passionate about his field, and–here’s the part that will blow your mind–he is dedicated to actually healing your body ASAP. As you may know, chiropractors are notorious for scheduling a never-ending series of appointments. But Rich is so not like that. Don’t just take my word for it, read from some of his past clients.

With these ethics, how he is ever going to make any money in this field is beyond me. And that’s where I come in, convincing you to take care of that backache, headache, allergy, sore hip (ahem, Lisa!). Dr. Beaubien is right at Coolidge and 15, for your convenience. Call him, and you will be well on your way to wellness. He’ll even bring you back to good health. Oh, I am so not sorry about the puns.

Essential Massage Therapy
I will now talk about Lisa Boyd, owner of this fabulous Ferndale establishment, like she is family. Because, after all, she was right there in the delivery room when my first child was born. My own mother was not invited into the delivery room, so that should let you know just how special this Lisa is. She gives one heck of a mind-blowing massage, too. And right now she needs your support. Don’t worry, there’s something in it for you.

Just click here and vote for Essential Massage Therapy in channel 4′s Vote 4 the Best competition before the end of the month (do it now so you won’t forget!). In return, she’ll give you (new client) half-off one of those mind-blowing massages I talked about earlier. That is way more than fair, any way you stack it.

Start Packing Travel
Who doesn’t need a vacation? But ugh, who has time for all that planning? What with all the running off to the chiropractor and massage therapy on your agenda. That’s where my cousin, Gay Murphy comes in. Her travel expertise is second-to-none. And you can take it from me because she helped plan my honeymoon to Tahiti. It really does not get better than that, my people. Gay also happens to be the nicest person on the planet. So she has that going for her. Stop by her website if you’re in the market for a vacation of any sort. You will love her better than warm chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven.

Soul Stretch Christian Yoga
And after all that, why not make a day of it and stop by one of my classes? Really, why not?

Then Jim could probably take your picture. But you might look a little goofy with all that massage oil in your hair. I’m just sayin’.

Jessica,
Thanks so much for posting your massage therapist’s info! I used to go to a great lady (who even offered us teachers a discount), but her business went under as a result of the economy. I called your therapist, and will pass her name on to all of Ann’s old clients at school! I know how traumatic it is to lose a great masseuse! ;-)
