Single dad for 135 minutes

Jessica is back to teaching yoga on Wednesday nights, so that left me with both kids from 6:00 to 8:15. This wasn’t the first time I had them both, but it was the first time I had to give Bastien a bath, brush his teeth, change him into his pajamas, read him a story, and put him to bed while simultaneously feeding and burping Hadley. I’m not going to lie: there were some tears (only a few of them mine), but as far as I can tell, none of us suffered any permanent emotional damage.
