Second. Cute things Bastien is doing lately:

The concentration face – this is when he is working on fine motor skill activities with his little tongue sticking out all the while. I cannot get enough of it.

Buckles – this is how everything that buckles is fascinating. This makes for much easier diaper changes and even help getting him in the car seat. Let’s hear it for buckles! Especially when they evoke the concentration face.

Bob – this refers to his neat-o Bob the Builder juice drink from Aunt Courtney. We hear a lot of “Baaaa” these days. Working on adding the second “b”.

Third. The giant dead tree in the yard.
A neighbor offered to cut it up and haul it away. Fo free! Let’s hear it for neighbors!

Fourth. No place to stay on the vaca.
We’ve got airline tickets to vacation in Jekyll Island this summer. Unfortunately, we’ll be staying in our rental car since lodging options are all astronomical in price. Apparently, news of the recession hasn’t made its way south yet. Let’s hear it for spacious rental cars!

Fifth. ComTASTIC.
We’ve been updated that construction is now underway and we will have High Speed Internet after all, in about 60 days. Do you hear that? That’s us, “let’s hearing it” for 60 days!
