Jim is probably going to get all embarrassed that I am hyping his work. But so what? It’s good stuff. And if you’re really nice to him, he’ll probably take some really nice family photos of you too — for the low, low cost of [whatever prints you want]. He has a tiny little studio in our basement, but his best stuff has all been on-location, IMO. Except for my recent belly shot. Here are some more of my personal faves of the past:







I think what he takes straight out of the camera is incredible, but he spends hours retouching his work, such a perfectionist. So it’s really a good deal for you (um, being free and all). And I should know, I work in the glamorous world of advertising, where retouching costs A GAZILLION dollars an hour, give or take.
