Update on the Noggin.

Talked to the neurosurgeon (Dr. Zakalik) yesterday. He said that both he and the plastic surgeon (Dr. Jackson) have differing opinions on what should be done about Bastien’s skull because it is such a mild form of craniosynostosis. So they want us to come back in a couple months to see how things are progressing. That’s fine by all of us.

And here’s an interesting tidbit. According to a few medical journals online (like this one), it appears Mozart may have had the same exact deformity. Coincidence?

Lastly, I wanted to report that Bastien got his 12-month shots yesterday and is faring like a real trooper. Shew.
