Daytrip: Elmore, Ohio

We met Marie and Hannah for a little afternoon fun today as part of our summer meetup schedule. The town was just so quaint and we enjoyed a delish lunch at the adorable Red White and Brew restaurant and antique shop. (Sidenote, we loved the wicker changing table in the ladies room). Our main destination was Schedel Arboretum, just down the road. It was stunning and inspiring, even in 90 degree heat. Though it did make us a little self conscious about the state of our own gardens. The kids got to play a little before we were back on the road. Mostly this involved Bastien pushing Hannah around in her stroller. This was my favorite meetup so far, but it was really just our second one. And oh yeah, I scored this great rocking horse for the dual purpose of B’s enjoyment and Jim’s photography business!
