It’s for your own good (we’re pretty sure, anyway)

Bastien had his 2-month vaccination shots last Monday. I held down his arms while two nurses assaulted him with 3 needles longer than any of his fingers. He did that cry where his mouth opens wide but no noise comes out for a long few seconds, which is just about the saddest thing I have yet encountered as a new parent. I’d like to say he got over it quickly, but he definitely was not himself for a few days.
