Kitchen Electrical – End of week 1

After a solid weekend of work (12 hours Friday, 8 hours Saturday, 15 hours Sunday), we have made significant progress on the electrical. Since Thursday, I have roughed in:

• 7 GFCI outlets on 3 circuits
• 9 recessed lights, controlled from 3 switches located at the back door, basement, and dining room entries
• 2 ceiling lights and a recessed light over the mop sink, controlled from the back door entry
• 4 undercabinet lights w/ dimmer switch
• 1 bathroom light w/ switch

Tonight I will be wiring the additional 3 GFCI outlets, a dedicated 20 amp circuit for the microwave, a 20 amp circuit for power to the laundry room. Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to wire these into the box as well.
